These terms set out the agreement between you and House of Halo when you enquire, commission, or purchase through us. By placing an order, you agree to the terms below. Please read them carefully — and if anything is unclear, we'd prefer you ask before committing.
House of Halo is a boutique jewellery atelier based in Western Australia, specialising in luxury lab-grown diamond engagement rings, bands, and fine jewellery. All pieces are designed in Australia and handcrafted to order.
Initial consultations are complimentary and without obligation. Providing your contact information for a consultation does not constitute a purchase order. We'll respond to consultation requests within 24 hours, typically the same day during business hours (Australian Western Standard Time).
Because every piece is made to order, we require a non-refundable deposit before design work begins. The deposit amount varies by piece, typically between 30% and 50% of the total order value, and will be confirmed in writing before payment is requested.
The deposit secures your order, covers initial design work and CAD drawings, and reserves your production slot. The balance is payable after CAD approval and before casting begins. We accept bank transfer and major credit cards.
Once your deposit is received, we'll prepare CAD drawings of your piece for your review. Revisions are welcomed — our goal is for you to love the design before we begin production.
Your written approval of the final CAD drawings is required before casting. Once approval is given, the design is locked and no further changes can be made, as production is committed at this stage.
Standard production time is 4–5 weeks from CAD approval. More complex or bespoke pieces may take longer, which we'll communicate upfront. Shipping times are additional to production times.
We'll do everything reasonably possible to meet agreed timelines, but delays may occasionally occur due to stone sourcing, shipping, or craftsmanship requirements. We'll keep you informed throughout and notify you as soon as we're aware of any change.
All prices are shown in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable. Prices are subject to change without notice, but your order price will be locked in once your deposit is paid. International customers are responsible for any applicable customs duties, taxes, or import fees in their country.
Because our pieces are made specifically for you, they cannot be returned or exchanged once production has begun. This is why we take the consultation and CAD approval stage so seriously.
If you wish to cancel an order before CAD approval, your deposit is non-refundable but may be partially credited toward a future order at our discretion. Once CAD approval is given and production begins, orders cannot be cancelled.
Every House of Halo piece is covered by a lifetime warranty against defects in manufacturing craftsmanship. This covers faults in setting, casting, or finishing that arise through no fault of the wearer. The warranty does not cover:
Complimentary cleaning and inspection services are included for the lifetime of the piece. Resizing, stone upgrades, and repairs outside warranty are available at cost.
Your first resize within 90 days of delivery is complimentary. Further resizes are available at cost. Not all designs can be resized in all directions — we'll advise on the specific resizing range of your piece at the time of ordering.
Each diamond we supply is accompanied by an IGI (International Gemological Institute) grading report. We guarantee the accuracy of the specifications listed on the certificate. Minor natural variations within the graded range (for example, clarity characteristics within a VVS grade) are normal and not a basis for refund or replacement.
All orders ship with full insurance coverage for the value of the piece until it reaches you. We use reputable couriers with tracked and signed-for delivery. Upon delivery, please inspect your piece in the presence of the courier where possible, and report any issues within 48 hours of receipt.
Risk of loss or damage passes to you on delivery and acceptance. We recommend you arrange appropriate ongoing insurance coverage for your piece.
All designs, photographs, and content on this website are the property of House of Halo and protected by copyright. Design commissions are for personal use only; the design rights remain with House of Halo. You may not reproduce, copy, or commercially exploit our designs without written permission.
To the extent permitted by law, our liability in relation to any piece is limited to the price paid for that piece. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under Australian Consumer Law, which cannot be excluded.
These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia.
